Screen printed plastisol heat transfers
Plastisol transfers are printed on suitable release paper or film and later heat pressed. Carrier stability, ink deposit, partial or full cure and peel method affect the result. Follow the ink supplier’s data sheet rather than copying one universal press setting.

Production route
Hot-split and cold-peel need different carrier and peel instructions. Record the approved press condition for each ink and fabric combination.
Equipment for printing the transfer layer; heat pressing and final garment qualification are separate steps.
What to validate before production
- Carrier dimensional stability after each dryer pass
- Layer-to-layer registration across the full web or sheet
- Ink and adhesive compatibility with the intended fabric
- Peel, wash, stretch and abrasion on production samples
Equipment selection
No. Film, ink, adhesive and curing requirements must be checked with real samples before selecting a production configuration.
